Misery at Luton (LTN)
To Luton (or should that be London Luton Airport?) for an Easyjet to Paris. So EZY 2561 took off for CDG nearly 90 minutes late. Annoyance number 1 at Luton was the security staff that didn't offer a tray for my jacket and when I asked for one, I was told that I could help myself. She certainly wasn't going to help me.
On arrival in Paris at approaching 2300, we had to wait for a taxi; this was T3 after all! The taxi driver didn't know the street of my hotel, so I had to guide him in.
Still, the Libertel, Arc de Triomphe, Argentine was a steal at €99 for the night and when I got to my fifth floor room I was able to turn green with envy watching the neighbours across the street enjoying a drink on their roof terrace.
I took this pic the next day.
